WINTER PARK, Fla. — Three-year-old soccer sensation Nevada Pierre is receiving an extraordinary outpouring of support following a controversial youth soccer game in Florida that resulted in police being called.

Nevada’s mother, Martasia Griffin, established a GoFundMe campaign to help cover training, equipment, registration fees, and travel expenses after the family left its recreational soccer program following the October 24 incident.

The fundraiser quickly attracted thousands of dollars in contributions, surpassing $35,000 within its first 24 hours. Social media reports now claim that support has exceeded $100,000, although that latest figure has not been independently verified.

The young athlete’s story has also caught the attention of several prominent public figures.

Popular children’s educator Ms. Rachel has publicly expressed support for Nevada and invited him to appear on her show, where he could showcase his soccer skills to a wider audience.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports has reportedly committed to helping Nevada travel to Spain in December for an international soccer development experience. According to entertainment journalist Loren LoRosa, the organization intends to work with the family to make the trip meaningful for the young athlete.

Former United States national soccer player Eddie Johnson has also offered to help develop Nevada’s abilities through his Orlando-area soccer academy.

The developments follow a dispute at a youth soccer game in Winter Park, where Nevada’s parents allege their son was unfairly restricted because of his exceptional skills. League officials disputed that characterization, citing concerns about physical play and a disagreement involving the parents.

Police confirmed that the incident was a civil matter and that no arrests were made.

What began as a difficult experience for Nevada and his family has now generated widespread encouragement, financial contributions, and potential opportunities extending far beyond his local soccer league.

For his supporters, the hope is that Nevada can continue developing his abilities in an environment where his enthusiasm for soccer remains the priority.

Pulse Radio 96.1 will continue following Nevada Pierre’s story as additional developments are confirmed.

Editorial note: The Los Angeles Times confirmed Ms. Rachel’s invitation, while October 28 reporting supports the Roc Nation Spain-trip development. The $100,000 fundraising figure and claims of a large direct Roc Nation payment remain unverified.
