Lake County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help Finding Missing Grayslake Teen

August 6, 2026

GRAYSLAKE, Ill. — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Angelo Porter, who was reported missing after he left his home in the 34100 block of Route 45 in unincorporated Grayslake on Tuesday.

According to investigators, Angelo was last seen after leaving his residence. Detectives believe it is possible he entered a vehicle with an acquaintance.

Angelo is described as:

Age: 15
Height: 5 feet, 5 inches
Weight: Approximately 150 pounds
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black

The Sheriff’s Office noted that during a previous missing person investigation, Angelo was located in Chicago.

Anyone with information about Angelo’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 847-549-5200. If you believe you have located Angelo, call 911 immediately and provide his location.
