ZION, Ill. — Harold’s Chicken is making another attempt to establish itself in Lake County with a new location opening in Zion at 4200 IL Route 173, Zion, IL 60099.

The new restaurant adds another chapter to Harold’s long history in the region. While the legendary Chicago-based chain has previously operated locations in Lake County, those restaurants ultimately closed, leaving many fans wondering whether the iconic brand could ever find lasting success north of Chicago.
