The World’s Biggest Bounce House to Take Over Cantigny Park for One Weekend in August

WHEATON, Ill. — Families across the Chicago area will have the chance to bounce into one of the country’s most unique traveling attractions next month as The Big Bounce America makes its return to the region.

The event is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8, and Saturday, Aug. 9, at Cantigny Park’s Parade Field, bringing what organizers describe as the world’s biggest bounce house along with several massive inflatable attractions designed for guests of nearly every age.

Unlike a traditional carnival, The Big Bounce America is built around giant inflatable experiences, live entertainment, interactive games, and family-friendly activities. Organizers say the event welcomes everyone from toddlers to adults, with age-specific sessions scheduled throughout the weekend.

The World’s Biggest Bounce House

The centerpiece attraction features enormous inflatable play areas complete with climbing towers, giant slides, basketball hoops, ball pits, confetti blasts, bubble effects, and live DJs spinning music throughout each session. Organized games, dance parties, and friendly competitions are also part of the experience.

The Giant Obstacle Course

Those looking for more of a challenge can tackle The Giant, billed as America’s largest inflatable obstacle course. Stretching more than three times the length of a standard soccer field, the course features over 50 obstacles, allowing participants to race friends and family or simply enjoy the colorful inflatable landscape at their own pace.

AirSPACE

For guests seeking a more imaginative adventure, AirSPACE offers a space-themed attraction filled with giant planets, friendly aliens, spaceships, and moon crater ball pits. The attraction is designed to encourage exploration and creative play in a more relaxed environment.

Sport Slam

Sports fans can jump into Sport Slam, an inflatable arena featuring basketball, soccer, dodgeball, climbing challenges, and competitive battle zones where families and friends can challenge one another in a variety of games.

Organizers say the event is designed to encourage families to unplug from screens and spend quality time together through active play and shared experiences.

With only two days scheduled in the Chicago area, officials expect demand to be high and encourage guests to purchase tickets in advance before sessions sell out.
