NORTH CHICAGO, IL — A popular local dining spot is making adjustments to its menu pricing as rising food costs continue to impact the restaurant industry.

Eleven 19 Kitchen + Cocktails recently announced that it will be increasing prices on select menu items due to higher market costs for several premium ingredients. The restaurant cited items such as asparagus, snow crab, lobster tail, and lamb chops as key contributors to the change.

In a public statement, the restaurant emphasized that the decision was not made lightly. Management shared that they even considered removing some of these dishes entirely but ultimately chose to keep them available due to their popularity among customers.

“We considered removing these dishes altogether, but they’re some of your favorites—and ours too,” the statement read. “In the end, we chose to keep them on the menu so you can continue enjoying the flavors you love.”

Despite the increase, the restaurant expressed appreciation for customer support and understanding during the transition. They also reassured guests that they are actively working on introducing new menu items in the near future.

The announcement reflects a broader trend across the food industry, where restaurants are facing ongoing challenges tied to inflation and supply chain pressures.

Customers are encouraged to share feedback and menu suggestions as the restaurant continues to evolve its offerings.
