EXCLUSIVE: Pulse Radio 96.1 Signs Major Syndication Deal to Air Hardwell On Air

Pulse Radio 96.1 has officially reached a new milestone after signing a broadcast agreement to air Hardwell On Air, the internationally recognized radio show hosted by global dance music superstar Hardwell.

The agreement gives Pulse Radio 96.1 the rights to broadcast the one-hour monthly program in the United States, bringing one of electronic music’s most established brands to the station’s growing weekend lineup. The deal marks another major step forward for the North Chicago-based independent station as it continues expanding its programming reach and industry presence.  

Known for spotlighting hip-hop, R&B, independent artists, and specialty programming, Pulse Radio 96.1 now adds a globally respected EDM franchise to its roster. Hardwell On Air has built a loyal audience around the world through exclusive mixes, high-energy selections, and cutting-edge dance releases.

Station founder Aidan Christion called the move a statement about where Pulse is headed.

“This shows independent radio can still make real moves,” Christion said. “We’re building something that can stand next to anyone.”

The addition of Hardwell On Air is expected to strengthen Pulse Radio’s weekend schedule while introducing new listeners to the brand. It also signals the station’s ability to secure partnerships beyond the local level, positioning Pulse as an emerging force in digital broadcasting.
